Carbon Composite Materials Research Center
Center Introduction
Carbon materials as reinforcements have been not only used in automotive, energy, sports, and construction industries, but also in national strategic industries, namely aerospace and defense.
Carbon Composite Material Research Center has performed development on advanced carbon materials that stem from core researches in synthesis and application of carbon nano materials and carbon fibers including CNT fibers.
Main research fields in the center are developing efficient carbon fiber process, upcycling synthetic and natural wastes into carbon materials, and understanding fundamental mechanism of carbon conversion. In addition, our work spans polymer synthesis for composite matrices and structural analysis of nano materials to provide solutions to manufacture advance carbon-based composite materials.
